Support information and protect human rights in Latin America, now!

There is an abundance of data available today, but only around 5 percent of it is useful for safeguarding human rights. Thus, we tend to focus on Latin America's dreadful Plan Condor era and gloss over the region's more recent history of state abuses, violence, and rising drug trafficking and the drama of migrants, without delving deeply into the root causes but instead focusing on merely "containing the problems" (which is often counterproductive) rather than addressing the real problems. Without excluding any views on politics, Latin American Insider aims to fix this dystopia; please help us out if you agree.
