Demand Justice for New Jersey Workers

The New Jersey Department of Labor and Governor Christie has created a ruling that makes it very difficult for New Jersey Employees to collect unemployment benefits. If you get fired from your job they can either withold your benefits for 8 weeks or  you might not be able to collect at all. Governor Christie has sided with Employers and has made it very hard to collect. If an employer states that you are being fired for misconduct ,they do not have to pay unemployment benefits. You can appeal the decision but that can take up to 14 weeks. By this time you might be living in a shelter!

Ask yourself does this seem fair? You can work at a job for 20 years and be fired with no just cause and not paid any benefits! So,no to this ruling and to Governor Chrstie's unfair practies. Please, sign this petition!
