The recent Suez Canal catastrophe confirms it! Hundreds of thousands of animals are put down, poor souls, and that after an agonizingly long period on board ships as cargo like any other dead product!
Many hundreds or thousands die already on the ships because of horrible conditions, no water, no food, no possibility to move or lay down...
This must end here! We can't allow this anymore...
If you need to eat animal proteins, try to find meat from locally and NOT industrially bred animals with good traceability as to the well-being of the animals when being alive and the most non-cruel circumstances when the animal is to be put down.
We can become vegetarians, vegans or just eat less meat/fish (and then choose it by their living and dying standards)
