Accessibility of Public Transportation for People with Disabilities, Act Now!

In New York only about 1/4 of the train stations have elevators and even some of those that do, are not functioning. This makes it really hard for people with disabilities to get around New York. People with disabilities already live a really tough life and this just makes it tougher. We should be trying to do everything possible to make their lives easier and this is a small step towards doing that. I am concerned because the MTA has made plans to install new elevators in previous years but nothing ended up happening. The MTA has a "set" plan to install new elevators in June 2020 so we must make sure this ends up happening. We must make sure that change comes soon.
