Baby Rebecca needs a voice, as the system and world has obviously failed her repeatedly. Her mother had continuously been charged with child abuse, and yet somehow, Rebecca and her siblings still ended up stuck with their abusive mother.
The mother has admitted to dumping the baby girl's body in acid with the help of her husband after she supposedly was found dead in the bathtub from drowning (sounds like a case of "pants on fire" to me...)
Now, she is gone, its too late to help her, but its not too late to seek justice for her, we just have to make sure her parents don't try and run off anywhere, and that is a very likely possibility thanks to the incompetent judge who granted them bond!
Currently, those evil monsters are still behind bars, but that can change if they make bail. This circumstance wouldn't be possible had it not been for the judge who decided it was ok to give these people bail. The judge might not have been sure whether her death was an accident, but the manner in which they decided to dispose of her is absolutely horrific and unthinkable for any loving parent to do, and on that point alone, they should have been denied bail!!
We demand that Leticia Martinez be removed from her position as judge and replaced with someone who is wise and caring enough to put the well-being of the citizens of our Laredo community (which includes, most importantly, our CHILDREN) above the needs of the financial sector of the judicial system.
