Use the HESS site for NEEDED public projects - NOT Private Developement.

**MARK YOUR CALENDARS FOR THE NEXT ZONING HEARING OCT 18TH @ 7P IN CITY HALL** Edgewater, NJ has been growing at a rapid pace! We need land that is available for public use, not private development. We are asking that the former HESS terminal be used ONLY for public works and not to support more private developers.

A proposal to add 3,719 more residents via a massive development of high-rise towers on the currently unused HESS site would be disasterous for the already strained infrastructure, and could harm the value of surrounding property. Edgewater township does NOT need more massive high-rises adding to the already congested roadways and overcrowed schools.

What do we need? A highschool or an additional grade school, public parks and other recreation areas, expanded public works buildings, parking - MORE SUPPORT FOR RESIDENTS!

We are asking that the zoning board vote down any proposal that uses the former 18.7 acre HESS terminal for anything other than public needs. The town has raised the funds to purchase the lands and should be allowed to proceed with building the support systems our community desperately needs.
