Revenue Canada, Don't Pass On Private Information to Police Without a Warrant!

A recent amendment allows Revenue Canada to pass on personal tax information to police without a warrant. Additionally, the crimes do not have to be tax-related; Revenue Canada is able to pass on information to police for crimes including breaking and entering, vehicle theft, arson, corruption and kidnapping.

Allowing Revenue Canada to release information to police without a warrant is an invasion of privacy, especially when the crimes do not even involve taxes.

Tell the Government of Canada to reverse this decision to keep our personal information safe!
