Quebec - Stop Your Islamophobic Ban On Face Coverings

On 10/18, Quebec's National Assembly passed a law banning people from wearing veils over their face in the providence while obtaining a public service.

Public services, it turns out, includes all sorts of normal activities, like receiving health care, attending a public university and even riding on a bus.

Although the law is careful not to use the word Muslim by name, in reality, the people affected by this law are pretty much all Muslim women. It's a discriminatory, hateful rule that serves no particular purpose other than to make these religious women feel unwelcome.

We implore Quebec's National Assembly to reconsider this terrible idea and repeal the law.
