Establishment of a Sheffield Branch of the Actor's union; 'Equity'

We the undersigned wish to see Equity establish a regional branch in the city of Sheffield, run by and for the members of our city. As the 4th biggest city in the country and the home of the biggest producing theatre outside the capital, and with an ever-growing number of local actors, companies and creatives; a branch to serve our community is not only preferred, (as there is no other current viable alternative), but essential.
