Support The Citizens of California and the California GMO Labeling Ballot Initiative

SUPPORT THE CITIZENS OF CALIFORNIA
Sign this petition and show your support for the citizens of California as they make history on election day 2012.  Show them that 49 other states stand behind them - UNITED WE STAND! Over a million signatures were collected in California for a GMO labeling ballot initiative.  California is the 8th largest economy in the world.  Mandatory labeling of GMOs in California will impact the food we eat nation-wide and will make it easier for smaller states to pass GMO labeling laws.  Please sign this petition and stand behind California.

RIGHT TO KNOW
We have a right to know what is in our food, a right that the citizens of 50 other countries enjoy, including all of the European Union, China, Japan, Brazil, Australia, and New Zealand.  We should have the ability to choose whether or not to feed GMOs to our families.  Without labeling, this choice is not ours to make.  Polls conducted by professional news organizations, including the Washington Post and MSNBC, have consistently shown that over 90% of American consumers want GMOs labeled.
