Disqualify Trump from the 2024 ballot using the 14th Amendment

The thought of Trump spending another four years in the White House is terrifying – it would spell the end of our democracy. And even though he's under investigation for several of his crimes and facing dozens of federal counts, he's still the Republican 2024 frontrunner.

But the 14th Amendment should disqualify Trump from running again, and states should use it to keep him off the ballot.

Secretaries of state are responsible for certifying eligibility of candidates who appear on the ballot, and under the 14th Amendment, they could – and should – disqualify Trump from running because of his involvement in the Capitol insurrection.

See Section 3 of the 14th Amendment, "No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress… or hold any office…who, having previously taken an oath...to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the [Constitution]."

We need state governments to make this happen – sign your name to tell state officials: Disqualify Trump from the 2024 ballot!
