Petition to Honor Indian Treaties/U.S. Constitution

Petition to require the u.s. government to initiate the honoring of agreed upon and still valid %u201CIndian Treaties%u201D

Whereas, we require that the u.s. government (hereafter %u201Cusg%u201D), led by Barack Obama, initiate the following described process to re-honor Article VI of the U.S. Constitution (%u201CTreaties made with Indian Nations shall be the supreme law of the land,..with the judges in every state bound thereby%u201D) and therefore the honoring of all legally agreed-upon, legally binding %u201CIndian Treaties.%u201D

Those many Treaties, currently ignored, violated, abused, against the respective Indigenous Red %u201CIndian%u201D Treaty Signatory Nations (hereafter Indigenous Nations) were developed and implemented in good faith as both the usg and Indigenous Nations understood them, until those %u201Csupreme law%u201D documents were ratified and became national and international law.

We demand Indigenous Nations no longer be referred to by the usg as %u201Ctribes%u201D, but viewed as nations - just as when those Treaties were agreed upon, and are heretofore known as their proper and respectful description, that of %u201CIndigenous Nations%u201D, each with their own language, Way of Life, respect, honor, and appreciation of the superior Natural World and each having their own specific ancient homelands as they know them.

We want each of those Indigenous Nations to be allowed full voting rights, and full veto-powered seating as Nations within the United Nations (UN),  so that the currently dysfunctional and corporate/government manipulated UN organization can return to its original intention %u2013 peace and justice for ALL nations of the world regardless of size, military strength, or measure of its resources.

We need a Treaty Review Committee (TRC) to overview each section, article, paragraph and sentence of each legal Treaty of each of all respective Indigenous Nations, consisting of the following:

*14 traditional Indigenous female and 14 Indigenous male representatives who are outside the control of the 1934 Indian Reorganization Act (IRA) %u201Ctribal council%u201D system.

*7 female/male representatives of non-usg, non-corporate-influenced, non-indigenous %u201CAmerican%u201D (u.s. citizens) individuals as selected in a fair manner.

*7 female/male representatives of non-usg, non-corporate-influenced, non-indigenous, non-American individuals of other nations of the world as selected in a fair manner by both the usg and Indigenous Nations.

The above TRC%u2019s majority findings and determinations %u2013 due four years from date of first meeting - will be fully honored by the usg, its 50 states, its military, and its citizenry.
