The majority of the people in this nation are bacically good people
. American's become enraged with the way that some other countries treat their animal's, such as stray, 'HOMELESS" dog's! But how many American's are aware that in the United States alone, over five million dog's are murdered by way of gas chambers, heart sticks and injections in "shelters" across this nation every year!!! The number of cat's is unknow, but I suspect higher.
These animals have done nothing wrong; unless you consider no longer being a cute puppy or kitten a crime worthy of being "dumped" by their guardians either into one of these "death center's" or into the street where they are eventually picked up and brought into one of these facilities where their fate is to be horribly murdered as well. Healthy, loving dog's and cat's are being put to death for the crime of abondonment by the family or person who they loved and depended on to love them as well.
We, the signer's of this petition demand an end to the millions of murders of dog's and countless cat's in this nation every year!! We demand that these facilities be converted into NO-KILL shelters; as well as to set up santuaries for these abandoned, broken-hearted dog's!! We demand that the current law's in effect be changed, making abandonment of a dog as a crime of animal abuse, equal to that of child abuse!! We demand that dog's and cat's are no longer considered "property". We believe and demand that dog's and cat's are entitled to the same law's of protection an human children!!
