Illegalize the act of slaughtering horses in our world

For many years we have let people get away with slaughtering innocent horses  they have been allowed to get away with this because it is legalized. I believe we as a group can make a difference and stop this act now.
Throughout the years the population of the American mustang has decreased significantly. Every year 100,000 horses are killed by our people and we need to make it stop now. These horses are taken across state boarders only to get killed and for what other reason then for money and business. Not only did these creatures expand our country deeper west they were born to be free! These animals are not food they are our companions for life
