Save our local homebrew shop

This shop has been part of the fixtures and fittings of Rosemead Street since the 60's and is very much part of the local community.
If it closes, people who work there, some for many years, will lose their jobs.
The council says that the shop does not meet health and safety standards and breeches disability rights legislations due to an uneven floor? The floor does have yellow/black tape to identify where the floor dips and people ,disabled and able, are aware of this.
This potential closure is just another attempt by the council to further erode our already disappearing community. Shouldn't we be building it up, not destroying the little we have left?
