We Would Be Better In a Meritocracy!

Too many corrupt politicians rule over our country, feeding us regular people lies every single day. It stops now! If we lived in a country with a meritocracy in place, the politicians and people who ruled our country would be selected by their merits such as honesty, intelligence, good negotiation skills etc. This would be much more effective than voting for whoever can come up with the best lies and the most appealing empty promises. If enough of us rally together, we can force the current government to listen to us. If we use the right kind of protest and persuasion (peaceful, of course) then we can make them see how a meritocracy could benefit our world! This really is an issue, for all of us, because we are treated like fools, and our home countries are ruined by weak people who have been easily corrupted by the great power they've been granted.
