Stand With Fast Food Workers All Over America!

The average counter worker at McDonald's has to retrieve a batch of scalding french fries, make a hot fudge sundae, brew a pot of coffee, and bag a Big Mac -- all in the two minutes McDonald's thinks it should take her to serve a customer and make change. So why isn't she making enough to allow her and her family to survive?

McDonald's and other fast food companies are still making record profits while their low-wage workers struggle to put the cheapest groceries on the table for their children. That's why fast food workers all over the United States are walking out on their jobs and demanding a living wage. Fast Food Forward, the action group behind the strike, notes that while fast food workers on the ground make an average of $11,000 a year, their corporate executive bosses in the penthouse are making $25,000 a day.

Tell McDonald's, Burger King, Kentucky Fried Chicken, and Wendy's to pay their store employees a living wage!

We the undersigned stand together with the striking fast food workers in seven cities in America.

These employees work hard, sometimes frantically doing the work of several people, while making an average of $11,000 a year. You have no business turning enormous profits at the expense of overworked, underpaid employees who are struggling to pay rent and provide food for their children. Treating your work force like this is immoral.

We demand that you listen to strikers and pay a living wage!
