Demand TV studios give striking writers the raise they deserve!

The writers of all our favorite TV shows are on strike, and for very good reason. The advent of streaming has been awful for writers, who have found themselves working for less and less pay (adjusted for inflation, writer pay has dropped 14% over the past five years).

On top of that, their jobs (and the quality of our TV shows!) are threatened by speculation about AI and the hunger of big corporations to cut every single job they possibly can.

Add your name to stand with the Writer's Guild of America!

"The companies' behavior has created a gig economy inside a union work force, and their immovable stance in this negotiation has betrayed a commitment to further devaluing the profession of writing," said the union in a statement.

Media CEO compensation last year averaged about $32 million for 13 CEOs at 12 media companies. It's obvious that they can afford to pay their writers better — and if they won't, then writers need to strike until they get a fair contract.

Support striking TV writers against greedy CEOs!
