Ban domestic fireworks displays to help to protect animals from the distress they cause.

Every year it seems as though more and  more reasons are found to set off  fireworks. At one time, all we had to do was put up with them on 5th November. Now, they seem to be going off every time someone finds an excuse. This causes untold stress for animals all over the country. It is self- indulgent and unacceptable. It is time that the government brought in legislation to limit fireworks to November 5th and New Year's Eve, and even then, only at professionally organised displays.
