This petition is for approval to transfer the title of the
2003 Expedition 4DR UTILITY VIN 1FMRU17L33LA43229, property of the Estate of Michael Roberson to Mr.Roberson's nephew--Omar Harris. Details listed below:
Michael and my nephew, Omar Harris had entered into a "gentlemen's agreement" for Omar to purchase the truck.
We do not have documentation to support how much the truck was to be sold to Omar for, nor how much he had paid Michael--only Omar's words. We know, however, that Omar was in possession of the truck and was paying my brother for approximately 2 years. He says he was paying approximately $275 per month. I am sure that he was paying Michael, because he would not have allowed Omar to have it without paying. (Michael was like that)
At the time of Michael's death, the truck had been returned to Michael apparently because Omar lost his job and could no longer make the monthly payments. Michael also had a payday loan on the vehicle. The loan company had the truck towed to their lot and my nephew paid the amount due--approximately $1200 to get the truck back.
