Trump Officials Pushing to Rename Aircraft Carrier After Trump, and Strip Pearl Harbor Hero's Name

Trump administration sycophants are reportedly stripping Pearl Harbor hero Doris "Dorie" Miller's name from an upcoming aircraft carrier -- and naming it after Donald Trump instead.

Yes, they are trying to name an aircraft carrier for Trump -- the man who just left an aircraft carrier (Lincoln) in a war zone, dangerously short of essential supplies, and then mocked its exhausted sailors by suggesting they should remain at sea even longer.

Unlike Trump, Dorie Miller was an actual American hero.

During the attack on Pearl Harbor, Miller carried wounded sailors to safety and helped his mortally wounded captain. Then, despite having never been trained to use the weapon, he took control of an anti-aircraft gun and fired at attacking Japanese planes until he ran out of ammunition.

Miller became the first Black American awarded the Navy Cross. He later died in action.

Donald Trump does not deserve to replace Dorie Miller. Not on this ship. Not in our history.

Tell Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Acting Navy Secretary Hung Cao: Keep the name USS Doris Miller. Do not rename this aircraft carrier after Donald Trump.
