Removal of Board Members

Concerns of the new bylaws. It's the lawyers understanding of the matter is that the new bylaws, among other things, provide for a stronger lien to be immediately applied against a co-owner's land if they are in default on assessments and/ or fines. The purpose of these bylaw changes is to punish members who don't comply. While some of the changes may benefit the members, they also give the board more sweeping power to fine the co-owners. As for fines assessed, currently there are three levels of fines with the first level only resulting in a notice. The current maximum fine is $150 per notice. Due to the board amending the current bylaws to make them more strict and punish us for enjoying our land I would like to remove the board, and put in place new members that will recognize our need to put our own personal imprint on own property, without fear of fines and/ or liens.
