Detain School Shooting Tip Suspects for Mental Evaluation and Rehabilitation

     Today we see the news reporting the FBI failed to act after receiving an anonymous tip reporting the suspect's malicious intentions before he murdered 17 people during the most recent mass school shooting in Florida on February 14, 2018.

     We need to encourage the brave people who anonymously report those who are threatening to bring harm to others in their learning environment. We propose a new bill to be signed into law, requiring local law enforcement and federal agencies to detain the suspects being reported for threatening to bring harm to students and campus faculty, for Mental Evaluation and Rehabilitation as soon as a creditable tip is received. Together through all of our vigilant efforts, we will Keep American Schools Safe.
