Stop the unjustly discrimination & murdering of Pit Bulls!

Pit Bulls are not all bad, yet are stereotyped and discriminated against constantly! The attack of one dog should not cause the entire breed to suffer the consequences! An animal behavorist from Washington University, Dr. Jim Ha, has said that it is proven that there numerous other breeds genetically more aggressive than Pit Bulls, some of which include: German Shepards, Mastiffs, and Chows. However, the fear of the muscular Pit Bull breed causes people to enact Breed Specific Laws that cast the innocent into banishment and even death at times. It is not ethical to discriminate any group (whether it be people or dog) for the actions of few. We need to educate people who wish to own any breed of dog on the proper way to treat/train a dog. Dogs are only aggressive if they have been taught just that! Many criminals are drawn to Pit Bulls due to their steroetype, the fear people have of them, and their muscular build. Now, just because these dogs have specific traits that give them ability to inflict injury does not mean they are going to do so. That is like creating a law restricting muscular people from living in a specific city, it is just wrong. The true problem is not in the breed of dog, but the owners. Innocent Pit Bulls should not be targeted any further by the media, discriminated against, or banished/killed. It is time that this fictional stereotype was put to rest along with the discrimnation the Breed Specific Laws create.
