Keep Michael Becker employed as a teacher

Michael Becker has been convicted of assault, fined, suspended and is now under threat of being dismissed from his employment as a teacher.

We believe that he should be allowed to continue to fulfill his dedicated commitment to children's education, without any further disruptions up to the date at which he chooses to retire. (circa 5 years.)

We the undersigned


support Michael Becker in his role as a teacher.  We are distressed that he has had his patience tested and used excessive force in removing a child from his class.  He has accepted that he was wrong to have done so.


We request that he be allowed to continue to teach children up to the date at which he would normally retire, without any further disruptions to his pupil's education.
