Get Teagasc researchers, EPA , TDs and local councillors in Ireland to eat GM potatoes for 4 years

If GM potato trials take place in Ireland this summer of 2012 we are asking John Spink and Ewen Mullins of Teagasc ( (the Irish Research and Advisory Body for Agriculture that wishes to research GM potatoes in Ireland), the EPA and all approving TDs and councillors to have their families use only GM potatoes in their diet, when consuming potatoes, for the four years of the trials to help assure Irish people that GM potatoes are safe to eat.

There have been no long term studies conducted to see how safe GM potatoes are for the human diet and we feel it only right that those who are promoting and supporting GM potato research in Ireland should volunteer to be the first to trial GM potatoes in their diet.

The study requires eating GM potatoes for a minimum of 3 days per week by all participants involved, over four years.
