Please Help Edralene Stay for the Children Who Know and Trust Her
For young children, familiar faces, trusted relationships and consistency matter. Edralene (Ms. Edz) has become one of those familiar and trusted faces for the children in Guardian's Kindergarten room. We are asking Guardian to reconsider her situation and explore an appropriate sponsorship pathway so she can continue caring for the children and families she has come to know so well.
Edralene is a Diploma-qualified Lead Educator who will have four years of experience in Early Childhood Education and Care by February 2027. She has dedicated herself to the children, families and Guardian community, earning the trust of those around her and being recognised as Educator of the Year in 2023.
Her continued presence would provide:
• Stability and familiarity for children experiencing behavioural and developmental challenges.
• Continuity of care from an educator who understands their individual personalities, interests and needs.
• Experienced leadership within the Kindergarten room and broader centre environment.
Edralene's visa expires on 12 February 2027. She does not want to leave Guardian or the children she cares for. She simply wants the opportunity to continue doing the work she loves with the children who know and trust her.
We respectfully ask Guardian to explore any appropriate sponsorship pathway for which Edralene may be eligible.
For these children, Edralene is more than another educator. She is a familiar face, a trusted relationship and an important part of their Kindergarten experience.
