Save Cats in Ohio! Demand Garfield Heights Repeal Ordinance 505.23

Cats may be America's #1 companion animal, but cities are still making it impossible to care for those who need it most.

Nancy Segula, a 79-year-old woman from Garfield Heights, OH, is at risk of going to jail for 10-days.  Her crime?  Caring for and feeding cats in her community.

She is in violation of Garfield Heights City Ordinance 505.23 - an outdated, inhumane ordinance stating "No person shall provide food for cats and dogs other than those owned by that person by setting such food out on the exterior portion of the person's home or residence."

It should never be against the law to show compassion to animals in need!  Sign our petition TODAY and demand that Mayor Vic Collova and the City Council Garfield Heights, OH hold a public meeting to repeal Ordinance 505.23!
