Cancer is not a political issue! Cancer attacks democrats and republicans alike. It kills the old and the young. It robs both the rich and the poor's quality of life. It devastates families, often tearing them apart.

In May of 2015, Joe and Jill Biden lost their son Beau to cancer. He was only 46 years old. The Biden Cancer Initiative was created as a response to the desperate need for early detection, research and care.
