Require Presidential Nominees to Disclose College Entrance Test Results

Dear Citizen,

Do you want smart people governing our country? I do. The U.S. presidency puts significant demands on the intellect of whoever would become the leader of the free world. If we require presidential nominees to share their tax filings--not that they all do--why not require them to share their college entrance exam results, such as the ACT, SAT, GMAT, and LSAT?

Personally, I do not trust that our current president has a "very good brain," as he claims. Or, perhaps it's large, but much of it is like an empty, unused warehouse, such as the parts responsible for empathy, spelling, and simple human decency. I cite, as examples, Trump's climate change denial and his statement about health care: "Who knew health care was so complicated?" I did. Obama did. Bernie does. Hillary does. These two examples point to Trump's tremendous ignorance--an aggressive ignorance I find particularly frightening.

I ask, in addition to future presidential nominees, that Trump release his college entrance test results. With his good brain, he should have nothing to worry about. And those results might help us all feel more confident in his leadership.

If you share this belief, please add your name to this petition. Together, we can bring intelligence back to the political table in terms we can all understand and that are recognized by U.S. colleges and universities. Let's make intellectual transparency an issue for 2018 mid-term elections and beyond, and start turning America back in the right direction.
