Foal has ACID thrown in its face

An investigation has been launched after a foal was found abused, burned with acid, and dumped in the East Midlands on the brink of death.
The horse, who is thought to be just eight-months-old, was left with the “worst acid burns” ever seen by one animal inspector, leaving her skin red raw and peeling off.

She was cruelly abandoned in the village of Clowne, Derbyshire, following the horrific assault.

RSPCA inspector Keith Ellis said: "The injuries sustained by this poor horse are absolutely appalling, and the worst I've ever seen.

"Whatever the substance was has caused her skin to literally slew off of her face and head.
