Vote No on the Trade Promotion Authority for the Trans-Pacific Partnership

Approving Fast Track authority greatly weakens America’s democracy by circumventing Congress and public debate.

I strongly believe global trade is good for the economy as long as the American worker is protected and fairly compensated. Workers are just starting to recover from the wave of outsourcing that came with previous trade agreements - let’s not put them in harm’s way again.

I urge Congress to vote against the Trade Promotion Authority for the Trans-Pacific Partnership. Americans deserve a trade deal that creates jobs at home, increases wages, and helps working families. The most important thing a Representative can do is honestly fight for the American worker. Now more than ever, they need us to be on their side.
