Demand to reopen Mallee Rose Cottage and reopen old programs they used to run.

Mallee Rose Cottage is a prime location in an area (Macquarie Fields) that is in desperate need of a sense of community. The cottage has previously been used to hold food drives, run after school activities, mothers groups and hold tea and coffee lunches where locals can meet and discuss issues. Macquarie fields housing has unfortunately outsourced the space to a group that are unfortunately not using the building and wasting the vacant premises. When we contacted the local section of housing they were unsure as to who they allowed to use the space and were unaware that nothing has been happening there but unfortunately seemed disinterested in the use of the space. Our goal is to first and foremost acquire 100 signatures showing that people are crying out for a better use of the space and gain access to the space, after accomplishing this we hope to fundraise to hopefully reopen one or two of the programs they have previously had there. Mainly the after school homework help and tea and coffee for the locals.
