Children's playground is defective and dangerous and needs to be replaced with a new safe play set

The current playground equipment was defective from the start and now needs to be replaced immediately with a new set to ensure that no child gets hurt. The protective coating on the stairs and platform melted in the hot sun upon initial installation and have degraded more over time. The platform and stairs now are left with no coating and exposed rust all over. This poses an injury risk to small children who must sit and scoot on this rusted surface to go down the slides. The climbing tower and plastic pieces were breaking off upon first installation of the equipment and are now unusable. The playground area has landscape mulch that can measure up to 6 inches and has sharp jagged edges that poses a risk for injury for all. Installation of safe playground approved mulch is needed. The playground equipment is defective and dangerous for children and must be replaced with a new set to ensure the safety of all children who play on it.
