Stop the violence! Put metal detectors in the schools!

There needs to be stiffer laws against gun control. I believe adding metal detectors or using the wand in schools to detect guns should be used in the schools. We have this process in the airports to ensure our safety on the planes. Why can't we do the same to ensure the safety of our schools?
