Stop the 50 Shades Crime Against Romance Covers!

As consumers of romance novels we have a right to book covers that represent the stories they are supposed to represent in a captivating and meaninful way.

Because of the success of the Fifty Shades of Gray phenomenon, romance book covers are fast becoming depersonalized and deromanticized in order to market to the masses instead of their core market....some would even say they are even being deceptive in their greed to increase their bottom line.

Boycotting the books that have covers we as romance readers find offensive to all that the Romance genre stands for would detrimentally impact the authors that we love and want to support, as a result our only course of action is to petition the Publishing Executives who made the marketing decisions to take the love out of romance books covers and to bring back the human element to the love stories they publish.
