Discontinue using Elephants, Camels and Pony rides at The Big E

Please join me in asking Gene Cassidy, President and CEO of The Big E, to please stop allowing exhibitor R. W. COMMERFORD & SONS or any other company from exploiting domestic and exotic animals at the Eastern States Exposition. The elephants, camels and ponies are harnessed, loaded with spectators and then led around in circles for hours. It is time to stop treating animals as side shows and the best way to prevent this treatment is by eliminating R. W. COMMERFORD & SONS' platform to do so.
At this day and age we need to educate the public about these animals and not use them as entertainment. Frankly I was shocked that in 2016 they were there. Eugene Cassidy has received previous petitions regarding this issue. Nothing has changed. Lets ban together to make this stop.

Dear Mr. Cassidy,

Please discontinue the use of exotic animals for entertainment at the Big E.  Its baffeling at this day and age in the New England area that this is accepted.  These animals deserve to be treated better and not be used for profit.  It is cruel and inappropriate.  Please make take a stand and do the right thing.  You have received petitions previous to this one.  Now is the time to take a stand. Thank you!
