The men and women who serve this country and risk their lives deserve leadership that is competent, steady, and grounded in reality—not reckless decision-making, political spin, or ego-driven chaos.

And they sure as hell don't need leaders like Trump and Hegseth, who dodge criticism of their incompetence by claiming that questioning them means we don't support the troops.

That's not just wrong—it's offensive.

Supporting our troops means demanding the best for them. It means expecting leaders to make smart decisions, tell the truth about risks, and put the safety of service members above politics.

When leadership is careless or out of its depth, it's our troops who bear the consequences.

And if Republicans really gave a damn about them, they'd do something about it.
