Encourage Medicare to Improve Coverage Policy for Continuous Glucose Monitors

A broad based coalition of leading diabetes clinicians, patient groups, suppliers and and manufacturers submitted a formal request to the Medicare agency's contractor in September of 2021, asking that they update the coverage policy for CGMs to permit people with Type 2 diabetes to access CGM technology and to eliminate some of the paperwork burdens that exist now. We have yet to see any proposed changes to the policy.

Sign this petition to encourage Medicare's contractor to move quickly to update this policy to reduce the paperwork burden and allow more people with Type 2 diabetes to access this critical technology.
