Petition to Limit ENP Scolarships for the College of Europe

Dear All,

First of all, sorry for spamming.

My name is Zarina , I am an alumnus from Dick & Politoskaya Promotion.

I live in Augsburg, Germany, I work very hard every day and I pay taxes. My scolarship for the College of Europe amounted to only half of tuition (without board included).

Thanks to the College of Europe now I know that it is worth to work and pay more to help countries in debt such as Ireland, Greece, Italy, Portugal and Spain to survive.

I also don't care if Greek/Spanish students, for example, probably still get the highest scolarships with the tax money of my parents, if you come from a poor country it must be hard to pay for the College.

However, when I see my younger brother (Dieter) being rejected for the second time during the application process for politics, with the formal explanation that "this year our number of scolarships has further decreased to make room for ENP applicants" I really can't refrain from sharing my thoughts with you.

SIGN OUR PETITION TO REDUCE BY 50% THE NUMBER OF EXTRAEUROPEAN STUDENTS.

(i.e. MOLDOVA, SAUDI ARABIA, BELARUS, RUSSIA, LITHUANIA, POLAND, ESTONIA, ROMANIA, BULGARIA, TURKEY, FORMER SOVIET UNION, NORTH AFRICA, ALBANIA, YUGOSLAVIA, MIDDLE EAST, AFRICA, CHINA, PERU)

Students from Africa, Asia and Russia are using all the fundings available for EUROPEAN students to get access to a higher education. We must ensure that our money goes to the right people for the future of of the College of Europe.

Furthermore, these students from ENP countries have the highest failing ratios at the end of every promotion, they have poor knowledge of English and French and are often lazy compared with the rest of the student body. The selection process is much more competitive in countries such as ours, whilst everyone can apply from Palestine for instance without having even his/her basic knowledges checked by someone.

With certain exceptions, we must stop financing hostile and undemocratic countries to detrment of our young generations like my brother, who always studied very hard at school.

We plan to send this petition to the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs and to the College before Easter, it would be great if you could sign for my brother Dieter being reconsidered for next year's promotion, in light of the above.

PLEASE SIGN

thank you
