Keep The Cat's Meow open!

This petition will help to keep a small business owner open, and be able to support her family. The Cat's Meow is just one of the many growing businesses in Medford that is family owned and operated.

Mr. Karnik expressed that he will not be renewing our lease of the 210 Medford Mt. Holly Rd. The lease began 30 NOV 16, although The Cat's Meow (TCM) did not open until 29 JAN 16. I, ELizabeth Ann Klein, owner and operator of TCM have asked that Mr. Karnik even consider extending our lease until 29 JAN 17, to allow TCM to remain open for one consecutive year, on a month to month rental basis, in order for me to find an ideal location in the community to continue to provide vegan, local food options for my guests. I am asking that he renew the lease for an additional two years, a right that is stated in my lease.
