He Strangled His Own Mother's Cat to Death While She Was on Vacation Before the Holidays

In mid-December, a woman from Pennsylvania decided to take a vacation before the holidays. So, she asked both of her adult children to look after her animals before she boarded a plane for California. She was shocked when her son claimed that her beloved cat had supposedly run away, and wondered what could possibly have happened.

Then her daughter discovered that the cat hadn't run away at all. Instead, the son had killed it.

When the daughter dropped by her mom's house to check on the pets, she was also alarmed that the cat was missing. When she went outside to the trash cans, that's when she discovered the terrible truth. There, tucked inside the bin, was a collection of multiple trash bags wrapped inside each other. And inside the layers of bags was the cat's dead body.

After the mother learned the truth, she called the authorities, who went over to investigate. At that point, the son admitted the truth, saying he had actually choked and strangled the innocent cat to death. And the evidence matched: they found scratches up and down the son's arms and hands - presumably from the cat trying desperately to survive.

Why did he do such a terrible, violent thing? He told authorities that he didn't know.

For someone to be confused about their own violent, deadly motivations, that can only indicate one thing - they need immediate and mandatory mental health counseling. That is the best way to keep other animals and humans safe from this person. Authorities must also ban him from ever living with, owning, or working with animals in the future!
