More cycle lanes in Bournemouth

After the recent death of one of a beloved friend to a great many people it is clear that Bournemouth is not safe for cyclists. Just visit the great city of Berlin and you'll see how it can be made much safer. If the response from the council is that it would cost too much then we should ask why they spend money on a shared space in Boscombe where crack heads can throw their macdonalds litter and cars can crash into benches as they can't see where they're meant to go, but not to make life safer for those who can't afford a car. Cyclists admittedly get bad press for using roads and skipping traffic lights or getting dangerously close to pedestrian but where are they supposed to go? Some roads may need widening, for example Southbourne Grove, to make way for cycle lanes.
