Stop SCE&G from raising rates to pay for cancelled V.C. Summer reactors project.

We, the customer rate payers of SCE&G, object to paying for an incomplete project from which we will receive no benefit. It might be legal, but it isn't right. We hereby petition the officers, directors, and managers not to request additional rate increases to pay for the cancelled V.C. Summer reactors and, in addition, to request that the SC Public Service Commission reduce our rates to eliminate the previously approved increases (approximately 18%, according to published reports). If we do not receive the requested relief within a reasonable period, we the undersigned propose to start withholding 18% from our electric bills.
