The person in question is providing negative care to the elder's within the home. The alcoholic behaviour and belligerant nature of the said person is becoming a danger to the public, residents in the home, and the communities within and around the general area. The infestation of bedbugs is overlooked and the diet is not within the Canada Food Guide. The medication the elder's are receiving is being tampered with, although their is no proof of these alligations, experience and first hand work with them is there.
The residents are being cared for by a person with addictive behaviour, abusive demeanor and personal hygiene issues. I am very concerned as to the care of these elders by the Director who is one track minded and does not allow any other care on control get in her way. I have experienced all of this first hand by working in the home and witnessing with my own eyes the abuse and control this person has over these people. They are living in fear and it is not appropriate .
There is a lack of compassion and care for these elderly people and they are being taken advantage of every day of their lives and it must stop.
