Make “California Love” by Dr.Dre and Tupac the official state song for California.

    The official song “I Love you, California” was written in 1913 and is a great song but it’s old and outdated. This petition is to change the official song to reflect the more modern struggles about how we riot not just rally to live and die. It includes our love for cities that have historically have struggled in the past such as Compton, Good Ole Watts and even Frisco from Oakland to Sac town, the Bay Area and back down. California is the greatest state in the union and producer and rappers Dr.Dre and Tupac Shakur embody their love for the state in this song. It’s a song that never leaves a dance floor empty.
