Child Labour

Over 127.3 million children aged 5-17 all around the world are suffering from the harsh conditions of Child Labour. These children work for at least 12 hours a day, kneeling, squatting, scrubing, and knoting.  Making carpets and rugs is one of many types of child labour they have to deal with. It is an extemely difficult for these children to leave these "jobs" because their parents are unable to make enough money to support their famillies. Many children die every year because of child labour.
