'Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door' is almost universally agreed upon to be the best installment in the 'Paper Mario' franchise among fans. From it's stellar story and striking visual aesthetics, to challenging gameplay and memorable soundtrack, it's an all-round gem.
So you can imagine the community's delight when, during an interview with the 'Paper Mario' franchiser developer Intelligent System, GameXplain asked if a' Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door' re-release/remake could be possible in the future. Their response?: "I think if we hear it a lot... then we’ll have something to think about".
This is a petition to show Nintendo and Intelligent Systems that there is absolutely a vocal community of fans that would definitely love to see this game re-released on a new platform. Whether it be on 3DS, Wii U or even on the forthcoming 'NX' console, I know fans of the 'Paper Mario' franchise would be more than willing to pay & re-experience this magnificent game, perhaps alongside the latest installment 'Paper Mario: Color Splash'.
Sign this petition now and perhaps with enough signatures we can prove to both Nintendo and Intelligent Systems that a remake or a re-release is definitely worth the time and effort.
