Wanting to move our mail boxes in front of our residence

Location: Corinth, NY

The Postal Service wouldn't allow us to move our mail boxes in front of our houses on Sylvan Road because they didn't have a place for the mail carrier to turn around. Now that the park is on that road, they have turn around's, and the town maintains the road and the park. I also don't feel safe of leaving my mail inside the box on the side road.
