Resignation over racist comment from public office

Andy Cooper called his previous fellow town councillor, Eva Braun (Hitler's mistress) in an email sent to all councillors. The previous councillor referred to, Kat Boettge has left the council recently with her fellow Green Party colleague due to concerns about breaches of democratic processes and finances. Andy Cooper, Labour, disagrees with these concerns. Kat Boettge is originally from Germany and hence the comment is understood as racism due to the derogative nature based on her heritage. We believe that a councillor must not make any insulting or racist remarks; and hence Andy Cooper should resign from his office as a Broxtowe Borough and Kimberley Town Councils.
